There’s no doubt about it, kitchen and bath remodeling can be a seriously dusty, dirty and gritty endeavor. Like any journey, much hassle and lost time can be avoided by choosing the right guide to reach your destination. In the case of a kitchen remodel and bathroom remodel, proper knowledge and planning can mean a substantial reduction in overall cost. Going with experience allows for the proper space planning in the kitchen and space planning in the bathroom to create kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets that are both useful and beautiful. A professional can foresee and avoid common problems, and can also help clients to prepare a sensible kitchen budget and sensible bathroom budget.
Rachel Pasterino, lead designer at Bradco Kitchens on Venice Blvd., a company that specializes in kitchen cabinets in Los Angeles and bathroom cabinet in Los Angeles stipulates that, “The knowledge a professional contributes can make an astounding difference in kitchen design and bathroom design. I find that my clients are pleasantly surprised by the wealth of ideas a seasoned kitchen designer and bathroom designer brings to the table when planning a kitchen remodel or bathroom remodel.”
Kitchen design and bathroom design require a very specific knowledge of all the components such as the plumbing fixtures, kitchen cabinets or bathroom cabinets, kitchen countertops or bathroom countertops and kitchen appliances. When a kitchen designer or bathroom designer is seasoned and experienced this can have a serious impact on the budget of a kitchen remodeling project or bathroom remodeling project, savings the client thousands of dollars. Your kitchen and bathroom should be designed as a unique place that perfectly suits your needs and lifestyle. Going with a professional kitchen designer or bathroom designer guarantees that your Los Angeles home renovation is done properly the first time around, greatly eliminating costly changes and mistakes that can plague large home remodeling projects.
With the check for the last payment of my bathroom renovation project enclosed, I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you that you that working with your design and construction teams far exceeded my expectations. Chuck, Ana, Ryan, David and Manny were a pleasure to work with on this project and they represent your firm and their professions well.
With this being my first home renovation project, I already had some reservations about it. And, hearing the experiences of friends and colleagues with similar projects only multiplied my misgivings. In hindsight, I can say the smartest step I made in this project was to walk into your showroom in December and start working with your team. Each of them entered my project when I was about to start the construction phase and a number of decisions had yet to be made. Each of them stepped in and their work maintained the continuity we were trying to recapture. They all provided a degree of professional and polished insight, experience, expertise, and advice that was truly unexpected and gave me the reassurance I needed to move forward with my project. I truly believe that their efforts to truly understand client’s needs beyond blueprints and schedules makes your firm standout as unique. The results of their efforts are very impressive and I’ve received compliments for the redesign and reconstruction. Indeed, I would recommend your team without hesitation.
I am hopeful that sometime this spring, I can start planning a kitchen renovation project with your team. Please convey to everyone my appreciation for all of the help to me and my good wishes for a superb year ahead.
Got my kitchen done by Bradco last year and everyday I walk into it my kitchen I still cant’ believe how lucky I am to have gotten my dream kitchen. My designer Angela first and foremost was a great listener. My top priority besides having a nice look was having organization space where everything is onhand. I became so sick and tired of tupperware all over the place, lids to pots and pans with no real place to put them, a corner cabinet where all the important stuff gets stuck in the back. That was the focus of my kitchen and I can’t tell you how easy cooking, cleaning and organizing is in my kitchen now. (and less expensive than the shrink, Angela really was a good listener!) My husband and I saved for this kitchen for a long time, and felt that with the economy we were gonna be living in our home for a long time, so we might as well make the best of it. I still didn’t have the hugest budget and Angela helped cut down things that I really didn’t need in order to meet the budge and still get my dream kitchen. Thanks Bradco!
If I could give Michael and his associates at Bradco 6 stars instead of 5, I would. We gutted our kitchen completely and now have an AMAZING, custom built kitchen, all thanks to Michael. We actually did the remodel almost a year ago exactly, but I have been too busy cooking to post on Yelp!
The designer at Bradco that we worked with was beyond patient- supplying my husband and I with every price option for every cabinet option known to man. I am 100% a bargain shopper, but I also wanted the best quality for my money. Here, let me just number all the wonderfulness for you:
1. Instead of choosing a stock cabinet from another company, Michael worked with us and crunched the numbers to be able to offer us CUSTOM made (I’m talking color, design, wood type, everything!) cabinets that he has made in his very own factory. We got solid wood (no mdf), formaldehyde-free, eco-friendly cabinets for only $2k more than omega brand stock stuff. I’m pretty sure that’s unheard of in the world of custom cabinetry.
2. We keep fully kosher and were trying to fit 2 huge sinks, 2 dishwashers, and 2 ovens all into a kitchen that previously had 1 of everything, without knocking down any walls. The design team at bradco were able to fit everything in while maintaining a beautiful, modern, and symmetric look to the kitchen.
3. When we had our final quote from Bradco for both the materials and the construction, I showed that quote to several contractors, ALL of whom said they couldn’t beat Bradco’s price.
4.When construction began, Eli (the foreman) and Jose (the head guy) were excellent in every regard. They essentially created a plastic-covered walkway in and out of the house to minimize dust and mess. Jose and his team showed up when they said they would (they always asked me when they could come- would 8 am be ok? 7:30?) and left at appropriate times in the afternoon. None of this banging on my door at 6 am or meandering around past dinnertime making noise. I trust Jose completely and would leave him a key when I was out. I even asked him to babysit my kids, but no such luck (yet!)
5. When things didn’t fit or there were questions, Michael would appear out of thin air to help me. Yes, the OWNER would show up at my house and crawl under the sink and tinker and mumble until everything was fixed and I was happy. How’s that for personalized service?!
6. It’s been a year and I still walk into my kitchen and smile- not only because it’s beautiful and functional beyond belief, but because the experience of gutting a kitchen and living amid construction for 6 weeks (yes, they actually finished on schedule!) was in every way easier than anybody had ever described to me. Thank you so much, Bradco!
Dear Michael: It was in May that a final contract was signed and agreed upon to commence work on the remodeling of our kitchen and master bathroom. At that time it was the culmination of much research by my wife, and sometimes me tagging along, for the last 2 1/2 years. I was also convinced it was the right decision on how the kitchen was to be done as to the other options we had explored. My wife is tremendously thorough and had looked into all different ways to redo a kitchen before meeting you the first time. It was after that meeting that she was convinced she had found the person to work with on this project. I was then summoned to meet you and validate this decision. The following is a synopsis of what transpired after that day. We have done considerable work to our house since we first purchased it some 27 years ago and as such have had many dealings with contractors and alike that have made proposals we couldn’t refuse. I don’t think we have missed any room in our house, or for that matter outside as well. I guess you could say we have constantly tried to improve what we thought, at the time , the most beautiful house ever built. The moral of this expose is that I don’t think we ever got what we were promised. The stories are too gruesome to retell and as I’m getting into my senior years I really try to forget what has transpired in the past and look forward to the future. And so with much trepidation I signed the contract with Bradco Kitchens and Bath to make our kitchen beautiful again. I even went so far as to suggest that we put in a late clause if you could not complete the job in a suitable manner time wise. You were so convincing that it was not going to be a problem that I decided, much to my amazement, to go along one more time to see if we had finally found the right man for the job. Michael, your team of artists, and I mean that sincerely, overwhelmed us right from the start. They showed up for work on the first day and did not stop until they had accomplished what had been promised. I cannot spell all their names but I made it a point to inform you of how terrific these guys were. Roberto was always on top of things and when any questions arose he took care of them immediately if not sooner. He is truly a jewel and if I were to go back into business he would be my first employee. Since I am somewhat fastidious when it comes to picking up after a mess, I was pleasantly surprised when your men would show up at the end of the day and take away the trash. That was great. In addition, even at the very end when sometimes a lackadaisical attitude appears, your people were right on time and making sure that we were taken care of right up to the end. Thank you. If at any time you would like to bring people over to show them what you did, we would be happy to make the kitchen available. Our master bathroom is wonderful as well and was completed without incident and is open for inspection. Please feel free as well to have anyone call us for a recommendation and to confirm that we actually wrote this letter of satisfaction. If we ever need some work done in the future, and you know my wife, you will certainly be the ones we call. Without exception. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Our BradCo kitchen is fantastic!
We worked with BradCo about a year ago for a full kitchen remodel. We have custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and all the appliances and goodies that we wanted. My wife still loves to show off the easy-close drawers and cupboards when people come over.
Working with the BradCo folks was great — they made the entire process very easy. We were shown the complete range of options, were able to visualize what the kitchen would look like when done, and had all of our questions answered. While we dealt with a few different people there, Michael, the owner, took an active interest in our project to ensure that things were good from start to finish.
We’ve had our kitchen for about 9 months now and could not be happier!
When my mom was looking for new modern kitchen remodeling in LA, Bradco was a fantastic resource.
Their blog is amazing – http://bradcokitchen.c…
The designers and owners really know what they are talking about in all aspects of the Kitchen & Bath Design and Modern Kitchen Remodeling in LA.
I recently moved into a home and am working on my kitchen. One day, I visited a few showrooms for ideas, and just happened into Bradco. They seem to have a large staff and all have been very helpful, especially the owner. Their selection of all materials for the kitchen is terrific. I fell for a table and benches that they use there in their conference room. The moment I saw it, I knew that was what I wanted in my dining room and I am now the proud owner of a beautiful custom-made dining set.
We recently completed our Kitchen remodel with Bradco kitchens and we want to tell everyone that it was a pleasure to deal with them. From the owner Michael to all his staff we where never disappointed. We where told upfront that a kitchen remodel is always a little stressful. Well, go to Bradco and they will prove you wrong. The price was right, their cabinetry is of high quality, and everything was on time and budget. Thank you Bradco for the great kitchen you provided for us. Also special thanks to Charlie from B&R Construction who managed the actual construction work and Ana our Designer for her diligent handholding.
We love you guys.
