When extended, it provides an additional 4 ft. of counter space and, when closed, minimizes visual clutter in the kitchen by concealing the cooktop. Available with a variety of cooktop brands, the countertop can be specified in a wide array of materials, including stainless steel, butcher block and natural stone.
